Autumn in super wide-angle

I decided to try out my Tamron super wide angle on my Sony Nex 6 to get some autumn pictures.

Some family pictures from Center Parcs in Nottingham

These are some pictures I took in the Nottingham Center Parcs when we stayed there for a weekend in September. We have been to Center Parcs several times over the last few years, but we mostly go to the Thetford Forest site near the village of Elvden. This time we went to Sherwood again for the first time for about 4 years. There pictures were taken with either my Pentax K5 or the Ricoh GXR fitted with an S10 module.

The best of my Beamish photographs

This post contains all my best photographs from the Beamish living museum in County Durham which I haven’t yet published. My Beamish Photos We went to Beamish twice during our holiday, partly because Beamish has a policy that an entry ticket allows any number of entries over the next year, and partly because it’s such an interesting and large place that we needed two days to see everything ! I know lots of people think that more should be done to […]

A Day at Lords Cricket Ground

James and I went to Lords cricket ground yesterday to watch the One Day International match between England and New Zealand. It was the first time James had been to Lords and the first time since 1991 that I’d been there so it was a fairly new experience for me also. We took the train from Stevenage at 9:36 and got to Kings Cross in plenty of time for the short underground trip to St Johns Wood which is the […]

Fairlands valley park in Stevenage

This is a gallery of pictures which share a location in common. They were all taken in Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage over the course of the last year. Fairlands is the home of the Stevenage Sailing club as well as a recreation area used by many people in Stevenage all year round. There are two ponds, a nature pond connected to the man made sailing lake by a short waterfall. I often walk round the park with my camera […]
