Soligor 200mm f/3.5 Tele Auto on Sony Nex

The Soligor 200mm f/3.5 lens which is the subject for this post is quite an easy lens to pick up in a variety of different camera mounts at a low price – the example I have cost me £3.20 + £6.00 for post. Images of the Soligor 200mm f/3.5 telephoto lens Soligor 200mm f/3.5 Lens Description At f/3.5 maximum aperture this is quite a fast lens for a 200mm focal length which increases it’s usefulness by allowing you to reduce...

    Caught in the spot light

We have a lovely sunny day here in the UK and I went into the garden to see what wildlife was about. This tidy spider was hanging in his web on a tree  and the sun light was directly behind him. I rushed inside before either he moved or the sun went behind a cloud and managed to take a few pictures using my Pentax K-5 and Tamron 90mm macro lens. This one is about the best I got at...

    Bullrush with Bokeh

I found this bullrush growing in a little pond in the corner of a playground in Knebworth Hertfordshire in April 2011. I used my Tamron 70-300mm Macro zoom to set to f/5.6 and 300mm to throw the background out of focus. Bokeh

This image was one I selected from the large backlog of pictures I have sitting in my Lightroom library. I am not feeling well today but I wanted to post an image so I was looking through the set of pictures I took in the garden when I got my Tamron 90mm Macro lens. This one struck me as a good demonstration of the bokeh obtained with this lens. Pentax K-5 Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro 1/100sec iso200 f/2.8 Related articles...
