Site subscription changes

This is just a short post to let anyone who is a subscriber to this site via their WordPress.com account know that, as a result of changing to a self-hosted site, you will no longer receive an email when a new post is published. You will still see the post in the WordPress reader, but there will be no email in your inbox.

If you find the email useful could I suggest you re-subscribe using the email subscription form in the sidebar? This email list is maintained by wordpress.com in the same way as when the site was within the wordpress.com family and when you join via email you will receive an email in the same way as before.

If you are a user of social media, the posts are also tweeted via my Twitter account, and there is a Facebook page as well. You can subscribe to either of those using the social media icons in the header.
