Black and white pictures around Stevenage

A few months ago I started working from home rather than going into an office every day, so I’ve started having a walk early in the morning to make sure I get some exercise. This morning I took along my Pentax K5 in order to take a few pictures as I walked around.

I wasn’t very impressed when I got back and reviewed the pictures. I’ve walked the route so many times that nothing seems new or different so any pictures I take always seem jaded and familiar. I was about to just get on with work when I thought ‘I wonder what they would look like in black and white’?

And I found that when converted to black and white they suddenly became more interesting, at least they seem so to me. View in full size here.
