Walk around the Suffolk countryside

This is a post highlighting a series of pictures I took on our recent holiday in Suffolk in the UK.

I took these pictures on the first full day of our trip when we went for a walk in the local countryside around the village of Horham which is about 5 miles from Eye, to explore a bit. We were lucky for the entire week in that he weather was clear and although it wasn’t hot in the April sunshine I didn’t find it too cold either.

The majority of these pictures were taken with the Soligor C/D 28mm manual lens fitted to my Sony Nex 6. As I said in an earlier post, this lens turned out to be a bit of a star and I think these pictures in part show why I came to that conclusion. Although I did my normal Lightroom postprocessing, the colour in particular was very good when this lens was attached to the camera.

In one of the shots I needed to do a bit more extensive re-touching to remove a part of Jan’s arm which had strayed into shot and I used Photohop to do that. This is my first real use of photoshop to do more than simple small area touch ups and I was quite impressed with how simple it all was. Although I can tell which picture and area has been altered I’d be interested to see if anyone else can so please be my guest and comment below if you think you can spot the area affected.
