Frost and Snow

These pictures were taken on a frosty Saturday in Feb 2012 with my Pentax K-r DSLR and a variety of lenses, either a Tamron 70-300mm Macro Zoom or the Pentax 18-55 Standard Kit lens. I found it quite difficult getting the correct exposure (this is before I knew about the 17% grey rule which cameras use to evaluate exposure) so there was some general lifting of exposure in Lightroom, consequently some I like and others I’m not so sure about. However, one reason for this blog is to chart my progress so I’m putting them up!

  • Pentax K-r
  • Tamron 70-300mm Macro Zoon
  • Pentax 18-55mm f/3.5 kit zoom
