Doggy out for a Walk

Whilst we were at Alexandra Palace for a paper craft fair I was taking some pictures of James & Emma when I spotted this dog sniffing about the grass in the distance. I had my Tamron 70 – 300 mm zoom fitted to my Pentax K-r and I took this shot.

I know this is just a dog having a  sniff around in the grass, but somehow the bush to the right, the sunlight and the dog’s position seems to balance for me and make an appealing picture.

About

I’m a software developer by profession but I’ve been taking pictures since I was about 8 years old. In that time I’ve owned cameras of all types and sizes from 120 roll film thro’ 35mm to my current Pentax K-5, Ricoh GXR + P10/S10/A12 28mm/A12 50mm, Canon S95 and recently acquired Sony NEX 6.
