This is one of my favorite images from the pictures I’ve taken. It was taken at Holt Station on the North Norfolk Steam Railway in August 2011. I had just bought a Tamron 10-24 mm f/3.5-4.5 super wide angle zoom and this was one of the first pictures I took. We were fortunate that the weather was fine that day with lots of blue sky as we took a family day out by travelling the steam train from Holt to Sherringham, and then having a picnic lunch on the pebble beach.

Although this is a favorite shot for me, there are lots of things which are wrong with it. The little boy on the left is not fully in shot and the ‘T’ of HOLT on the station sign is missing, but I still count it as a favorite.

The other pictures from this trip are on my flickr account.
